I have been a registered dietitian for the past 32 years! I am passionate about working with clients who wish to improve their relationship with food as well as prevent or control chronic diseases such as Diabetes.  I believe It’s more important to consider what is missing in your diet than what should be eliminated.  I love to cook, but I also love to be efficient and not spend all my time in the kitchen!!

Anthony Beard

There is no “typical” diet, and for over 25 years, I have not been a “typical” registered dietitian nutritionist. I strive to live and work under the principle that you don’t have to be a perfect fit to have a healthful lifestyle. It can be shaped around your unique biology and circumstances.

Between my cycling and hiking adventures, I have discovered kayaking, and maybe I can help you discover your healthy habit?

I specialize in sports dietetics and am currently working towards becoming a board-certified specialist (CSSD) in this field. I believe that the most important step to proper fueling is creating a healthy relationship with food because ALL foods can fit into a healthy diet.

Being active with running is important to me and I have learned first hand how much good nutrition affects my ability to exercise regularly. I look forward to sharing my expertise with you to find foods and activities that keep you feeling strong and energized!

Following my passion for wellness and helping others live a healthy lifestyle, I became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in 2016.  I currently hold a certificate in pediatric, adolescent, and adult weight management.

My philosophy is anti-diet. I specialize in delivering fun, evidence-based nutrition education programs designed to support behavior that will set the stage for lifelong healthy habits.

To keep my body and mind right, I enjoy running, kayaking, singing loudly in the car, and getting my kids in the kitchen to help me make a mess.
